Current Research

I’m currently working on extending sparse coding models of visual perception and computing with high-dimensional vectors.

Background

I studied computer science and philosophy as an undergraduate (at Dartmouth) while performing research in the Brain Engineering Lab at Dartmouth. This experience led me to study abroad (at LMU Munich in Germany), where I earned a Master’s and worked on computational models of grid cells. I am now excited to be a PhD student at the Redwood Center and Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute! I am grateful to be currently supported by a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship.
