There’s a new face at the Redwood Center this week and it belongs to Louis Kang, a Postdoctoral Scholar joining us from UPenn! Louis is working with Mike DeWeese on applying modeling techniques from theoretical physics in order to better understand neural population dynamics.

Louis has a PhD in Physics AND an MD, both from the University of Pennsylvania, where he worked with Tom Lubensky and Vijay Balasubramanian. His most recent work has been on grid modules in the entorhinal cortex. Welcome, Louis!
